Software Information
DVDRW or CDRW Burning Software
DVDRW software is provided for DVDRW burners, and support may be sought from Nero and the other respective
software manufacturers. CDRs may be burned using Nero or Microsoft Windows Media Player or other burning
programs. DVD player software is provided and support may be sought from the software manufacturer. Also
PowerDVD may be obtained separately for playing DVDs.
Game Software
Internet access providers such as Verizon and cable companies offer many free games. We recommend other game
sites online such as Pogo.com, AOL
and MSN games. Many other game software CDs, subscriptions, programs, and demos are also available online.
While many games will work on most computers
or laptops, a few very high performance games may not function adequately since some may require very high end
computer specifications such as expensive graphics cards. Call 410-208-4400 if you would like us to estimate
and build a modest game system for a particular set of games and provide any other special requirements.
Downloading Music and Video
CAUTION: It is better to subscribe to download from legitimate sites such as itunes,
Rhrapsody, etc. and avoid free download files from peer to peer sites. Free video and music
downloading from some web sites may cause problems with unwanted spyware and hard drive over-loading.
Software Conditions
The customer's software actions and internet activity vary.
Some internet malware can affect many Windows security programs.
The result is a lack of performance of the Windows software and other programs.
As a computer industry standard policy, it is recommended that Windows be re-installed if necessary.
Therefore, the conditions of the Windows operating system and other software programs are not covered
under warranty.
The Windows CD is provided for re-installation if necessary to fix Windows crashes.
The hardware devices such as hard drive, motherboard, etc. are covered under warranty if they fail
within the warranty period.
